The ink on the contract is barely dry, but we’re thrilled to announce that DrupalCamp Colorado 2020 will take place at the King Center, on Auraria Campus in Denver, from Friday, August 14 - Sunday August 16.
You can look forward to a format similar to what you saw at DCCO 2019, with some new twists and surprises (and maybe even another t-shirt quilt!). Friday, 8/14, will see the return of our summits and, while we’re still working to get the lineup finalized, you can expect more quality content, laser-focused on industry verticals with plenty of opportunities to connect with your peers. Sessions will return on Saturday, 8/15, and we’ll be taking a cue from DrupalCon Minneapolis with a standard session length of 45 minutes. Start thinking about your proposal now - next spring and our CFP will be here before you know it. Finally, we received lots of positive feedback about our Sunday contribution day in 2019, which featured a first-time contributor workshop, mentors from a variety of contrib projects and opportunities for any role to get involved in the Drupal project. Despite planning still being in the early stages, you can expect more of the same contrib goodness on Sunday, 8/16.
We’re just getting started and can’t wait to get more plans finalized for DCCO 2020. If you’re interested in volunteering, check out our volunteer list (more formal volunteer signup is in the works) or feel free to drop into one of our weekly planning calls. We meet every Monday (except 12/23 and 12/30) at 4pm MT on Zoom - you can find details and an agenda for each week’s meeting in our issue queue. As always, feel free to email us with any questions, comments or concerns at info[at]drupalcampcolorado.org. We’re looking forward to a great 2020 for the Colorado Drupal community.
